Angry Bird Plush

Gift for my nephew. He's 3 and can't get enough of those Angry Birds. I try to explore other mediums when doing gifts projects so thought I would try my hand at some sewing. Found a 4 piece juggling ball pattern and went from there. All hand stitched. Ended up stuffing it with the left over fluffy red fabric.

Steampunk Anti-gravity Pack

For SteamCon II I added an anti-gravity pack to my costume.

Here is the original design I made about a year ago.

3D prototyping.

Working on the side tanks. PVC pipe, foam shaved down to domes for the ends, then covered with Bondo and sanded to a smooth finish.

Early assemblage of the parts. Googly eyes used for the rivets. MDF used for the engine/heat sink-looking part.

First coat of primer.

Plasma disk used to add some spiffy electrical flare.

Harness with breathing apparatus.
